EARTH HOUR 2023

Earth Hour in the Guianas will focus attention on the protection of the iconic jaguar, and conservation of their habitats. The jaguar is part of our culture. There are numerous stories about jaguars but how will the story of the jaguar in Suriname and Guyana continue?

This Earth Hour we call on everyone to give the jaguar a voice to help further secure habitats, encourage jaguar-friendly economic development and co-existence between people and jaguars.
We will raise awareness about the jaguars by sharing stories, footage, and experiences with jaguars.

Furthermore, we will work with organizations, companies and foundations that are committed to the protection of wildlife. Together we roar louder! #LETSROARSURINAME  #LETSROARGUYANA

EARTH HOUR 2023

LEARN, INSPIRE, RECONNECT, RESTORE

Earth Hour believes that each one of us has the power to make a positive impact on our planet, but it’s up to us as individuals to decide how we do so. As a global movement, we acknowledge that the impact individuals can make is bounded by their own abilities, privilege, and environment. Earth Hour strives to inspire and support people to decide what they can do and want to do for Earth – our planet, our home. How will you give 60 minutes of your time to Earth, this Earth Hour?
