Dominiek Plouvier, Regional Representative, has been working with and for WWF eversince 1994. He holds an MSc in Agricultural Sciences 1983, with a specialisation in tropical forest management, timber use and nature conservation from the State University of Gent, Belgium.
He started his professional career in Suriname at the State Forest Service. He brings to the Guianas a long experience as a consultant in various African, Asian, South American and European countries. Dominiek speaks Dutch, French, English and Spanish fluently, and that will be a great asset to his work in the mulit lingual setting of the Guianas.
