WWF Staff in French Guiana (La Guyane)

Laurent Kelle, Regional Marine Turtle Coordinator, La Guyane.
Laurent Kelle Regional Marine Turtle Coordinator, holds an MSc in ecotoxicology. After having worked on various naturalist field inventories, and spent one year studying pesticides' pollution on raptors in Paris (France), he joined the Kawana project in 1997, as a volunteer.

Since this time, he gradually became more and more involved in the WWF marine turtle program ; at first as the Kawana project coordinator (1998/1999), then as a Marine Turtle program officer (2000/2002), and since 2003, as the WWF regional coordinator for this program. He has been recently invited to join the UICN/SSC Marine Turtle Specialists Group.
Yesenia Cervigon, Office Coordinator Assistant, La Guyane.
Yesenia Cervigon, Office Coordinator Assistant of WWF French Guiana - She graduated in economics and administration at the Catholic University of Ecuador. She was working on research for economic projects, accounting and income taxes preparation before joining the WWF.

She has been working with WWF since January 2002 and her duties are help the coordinator and the program officers with the financial and administrative activities.
Linda
Linda Rieu, Marine Turtle Conservation Coordinator - She has joined the WWF since june 2008 to coordinate the Marine Turtle Conservation Plan in French Guiana. Since 2002, she holds an MSc in Ecology at the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris (France). After two years of independant consulting on the central african bushmeat trade issues, she worked in 2007 for a european conservation program in the Regional Natural Park of Corsica (coordinator of the LIFE Mouflon program).

Her duties in the WWF will consist on coordinating all the actions concerning marine turtle conservation and finding fundings to lead these actions programmed during 5 years.
