Laurent Kelle, Country Manager- Holds an MSc in ecotoxicology. After having worked on various naturalist field inventories, and spent one year studying pesticides' pollution on raptors in Paris (France), he joined the Kawana project in 1997, as a volunteer.
Since this time, he gradually became more and more involved in the WWF marine turtle program ; at first as the Kawana project coordinator (1998/1999), then as a Marine Turtle program officer (2000/2002), and since 2003, as the WWF regional coordinator for this program. He has been recently invited to join the UICN/SSC Marine Turtle Specialists Group.
